Coaching

The US Bishops pastoral letter, Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response, tells us that, “Stewardship is an expression of discipleship, with the power to change how we understand and live out our lives.” Imagine the effect it has on a parish when more and more people begin to understand and see the world around them differently. Good stewards not only have had their own lives transformed, they begin to transform the communities in which they worship.

What is Coaching?

Can you name a top athlete that doesn’t have a coach? Top performers in all types of fields rely on coaches to help them become the best they can be. Why should church communities and those who belong to them be any different?

With the assistance of Tracy Earl Welliver and the LPi Coaching Team, your parish community can become a far better reflection of the Kingdom of God than it is now. Through motivating talks, inspiring retreats, concrete plans, and measurable goals we can help you achieve a higher level of engagement and vitality. More hands will be sharing the load, more funds will be available to do great things, and most importantly, more people will have a renewed relationship with their God.

How is Coaching different from other consulting out there?

A good sports coach provides training and a framework for success on the field or court. He or she doesn’t actually play in the game. In the end, the success of the team belongs to them. Similar companies offering parish services might do everything for you, down to telling your pastor what to write in a letter. In the end, the parish remains dependent on the services, sometimes for years to come. No one knows your parish better than you. Rather than tell you what to do, we partner with you and provide leadership and inspiration. All of our coaching services are 100% tailored to you.

What types of coaching services are offered?

We offer you anything from evening inspirational and formational talks to the parish community, to our Sower Model, a multi-year process that includes an assessment, formulation of a long-range plan, a stewardship campaign, parish formation, and follow-up. We can provide training for parish leaders, pastoral councils, stewardship committees, catechists, and everyday parishioners.
